Following the success of our Riverside Trail & Countryside Trail we are introducing part three of the series - The Coastal Trail - NEW for 2025!

Experience the stunning beauty of our coastal trail while supporting a great cause. Whether you’re looking for a challenge or a leisurely stroll, we have the perfect route for you. Following the King Charles III England Coast Path all the way to Whitstable. This is the newest section of the England Coast Path taking you through some of the finest landscapes in England.

Choose from three exciting routes, each offering its own unique adventure:

👟 Epic Route 👟

Distance: Approximately 24.5 miles
Start Time & Location: 8am, Ramsgate Harbour, Ramsgate
Description: Embark on the ultimate challenge! This route takes you through diverse landscapes, offering breath taking views and a rewarding experience for seasoned walkers. Prepare for a full-day adventure that will test your endurance and spirit.

👟 Challenger Route 👟

Distance: Approximately 12.5 miles
Start Time & Location: Birchington Promenade, Birchington
Description: Perfect for those who want a substantial challenge without the full marathon distance. This route combines scenic beauty with manageable distance, making it ideal for intermediate walkers seeking an invigorating experience.

The Epic & Challenger options are not challenges to be sniffed at. These routes can be tough and undulating in places, so don't think it'll be a walk in the park!

👟 Local Route 👟

Distance: Approximately 4.5 miles
Start Time & Location: 2pm, Herne Bay Clock Tower, Herne Bay
Description: A shorter, more relaxed walk for families, beginners, and those who prefer a leisurely pace. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the coast, taking in the sights and sounds of the seaside.

🎉 Finish Line Celebration 🎉: No matter which distance you choose, all routes end at Whitstable Castle, where we will gather to celebrate your achievements! 🏅

Supporting you: We pride ourselves on giving our participants all the support they need, after all you'll be raising important funds to ensure we can continue to offer our care and support to local families, free of charge.

Sponsorship💰: When you sign up to this event each adult that is registered will automatically have a fundraising page created for them. There is no minimum sponsorship for this event, all we ask is that you raise as much as you can to help us support patients and their families facing life limiting illnesses.

When taking part in this challenge you can expect to receive:

Fundraising support along the way including tips and materials.
Training tips to help you prepare for the big day.
A medal for all participants.
A free t-shirt

Small Print

By signing up to the Walkathon you agree to all of our Terms & Conditions and it is important that you take the time to read these.

If you are 15 years old or younger, you must be accompanied by a participating supervising adult.
Child ticket prices are available on the Local Route only.
The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
To improve the booking experience, we're using a different booking platform. There is a small charge for this, therefore you'll see a small booking fee per ticket.
