Three Peak Challenge For ellenor

We are three lads aged 24 from Gravesend, Kent aiming to raise money for the Ellenor's hospice by completing the National Three Peaks Challenge; The National Three Peaks Challenge is an event in which participants attempt to climb the highest mountains of England (Scafell Pike), Wales (Snowden) Scotland (Ben Nevis) within 24 hours. However if we reach our target, we will do the whole thing in budgie smugglers!

Why donate to ellenor?

In December 2022, my mum was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer stemming from a gastrointestinal stromal tumour which saw her health to deteriorate rapidly before claiming her life in November 2023. Being just the two of us at home, there were moments where I felt the pressure as I balanced taking care of my mum, keeping up with hospital appointments, studying, working and keeping the house in check.

ellenor provided an excellent care package in place for my mum, more than I could have asked and I am eternally grateful for the help and support that my mum and I received from ellenor. A big shout out to Natalie from ellenor in Northfleet, my mum would always have a smile on her face when you was due for a home visit; you went above and beyond in your role for both me and my mum, checking in and showing incredible care towards the both of us along the tough journey that lie ahead. I am one in many who has received this amazing support through ellenor and so myself and my two friends, Felix and George would like to raise money for this charity so that they can continue caring and supporting thousands of patients and families facing life limiting and life-threatening illness.
