What to expect: In the peaceful tranquillity of our hospice garden and new wellbeing wing, we come together to remember the loved ones we have lost. You can remember your loved one by adding a cherished summer memory to our Tree of Life or add their name to our exclusive tribute film. As we look to celebrate 40 years of care, we welcome you to take part in creative activities, tour our beautiful garden, and enjoy an ice cream while reflecting on special memories.
Booking a ticket: Booking a ticket for this event is essential – spaces are limited due to fire and safety regulations. Tickets are £1 each. This allows you a tour of our new hospice garden which will be under development, access to lots of creative activities to commemorate your loved one, live music and a safe space to reflect and remember memories.

Do I need to book, or can I just turn up?
Booking a ticket for this event is essential – spaces are limited due to fire and safety regulations. If you turn up without a ticket, we may sadly have to turn you away.
Do I need to book for a child to attend?
Yes, you will need to book a ticket for every person joining you for the event, up to a maximum of 5 people per party. Please remember, we will only be able to admit in those who have a ticket.
Tickets are sold out – will the event be recorded and can I watch the Tribute Film?
We won’t be recording the event, but our tribute film will be uploaded to our Facebook and YouTube channels from Saturday the 19th of July.
Will there be seating at the event?
Yes, we can provide seating where this is needed.
Will there be refreshments?
Yes, we will be providing ice cream and various refreshments available to purchase from our hospice café.
Are dogs allowed at the event?
Unfortunately, only assistance dogs are permitted to enter the hospice. Therefore, we ask you to leave your furry friends at home. If you would particularly like your pet to watch the tribute film with you, a recording of the tribute film will be available to watch on ellenor's Facebook and YouTube channels from Saturday the 19th of July.
Will there be parking available?
3 hours of free parking will be available at Morrisons Car Park, situated a few minutes’ walk from the hospice.
There will be no parking available for guests in the hospice car park, as this is reserved for patients and visitors only.
