Gail died last year while under ellenor’s care, surrounded by the people she loved most. She was someone who lit up a room, cherished time with family and faced life with grace and courage. Now Peter is walking to honour her memory and to help other families receive the same comfort and care that meant so much to him and his family.

ellenor’s Twilight Walk is more than just a sponsored walk – it is a night of shared remembrance. To connect with others who have experienced grief and loss and to celebrate the lives of those we have lost and the care that made a difference. It is also a moment to recognise the vital hospice support ellenor provides to the local community – and the life changing impact it has on families every day.
“The care ellenor gave wasn’t just for Gail — it was for all of us,” says Peter. “They helped us find moments of peace, even in the hardest days. Walking the Twilight Walk is my way of giving something back and keeping Gail’s memory shining bright.”
Monies raised from the Twilight Walk will help ellenor continue to provide personalised hospice care — whether at their Northfleet hospice, through their new Wellbeing Centre, or in the homes of local families, wherever they feel safest and most loved.
