National Inclusion Week® 2025 – 15–21 September
Founded by Inclusive Employers in 2013, National Inclusion Week® (NIW) is an annual celebration dedicated to championing inclusion and building workplaces where everyone feels valued. Taking place this year from 15–21 September, NIW encourages organisations to spark conversations, share ideas, and take meaningful action on inclusion.
What makes NIW unique is that it involves everyone. It’s an opportunity to recognise the importance of intersectionality and include all communities – across gender, race, religion, LGBTQ+, disabilities, carers, and social mobility.
At ellenor, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do. As a charity that provides specialist hospice care and support to people of all ages, we know that true care is only possible when every individual feels seen, respected, and included. By taking part in National Inclusion Week®, we are reaffirming our commitment to:
-
Ensuring that everyone who turns to us for care – patients, families, carers, and communities – feels welcome and supported.
-
Creating an inclusive environment for our staff and volunteers, where differences are celebrated and every voice matters.
-
Driving forward conversations that challenge inequality and strengthen compassion, both within ellenor and across the wider community.
Now is the time to act on inclusion, and ellenor is proud to stand alongside others across the UK to celebrate, learn, and grow together during National Inclusion Week® 2025.
