Support local families today – keep us caring in 2021
Almost exactly a year ago, as we entered lockdown for the first time, I felt sure that by now we’d all be back to normal. There is light at the end of the tunnel, but the road to normality will be long and slow.
This has been the most extraordinary, and challenging year for ellenor’s team of staff and volunteers. All have adapted how they work to support patients and families. The challenge has never been greater, but their continued dedication and commitment has been remarkable.
For ellenor and our patients, 2021 will be even harder than 2020. The next few months will see more people need our expert care and support and we are determined to be there for them.
To keep our care going over the next 12 months we are calling on good people like you in our community to stand with us. Every penny will help to bring our care to patients and families who need our support. Please, help us today.
For local children and adults like John and Luwan, knowing that they can count on the love, care and support of ellenor makes the road ahead that little bit easier. But we can only do it with your help.

I can’t wait to be able to share good news about how we’re returning to normal services, welcoming people back into the hospice and celebrating the journey we’ll have all made together. But, we really aren’t there yet – and we really do need your support.
Thank you, from all of us at ellenor for continuing to be a part of our family. I hope you and your loved ones stay well and safe; until the sun truly does come out for us all later this year.
