Assistant Manager

Salary: £13,420.80 per annum

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

Location: Welling

Do you have great customer service, a friendly and approachable manner and retail experience? If so, we are looking for someone just like you!

As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will have a background in retail and experience in the retail environment. You will work alongside the shop manager to manage staff and volunteers, drive sales to achieve targets and assist in recruitment, training, cash management and managing volunteers.

ellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community. At ellenor we value inclusivity and focus on providing high-quality services with compassion and care.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to plan, set, and operate the shop within the annual retail operating budget
  • Maintaining high levels of standards within the store
  • Sorting donations, pricing and displaying products
  • Cash handling, and banking
  • Managing volunteers and daily tasks

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload

Ecommerce Manager

Ecommerce Manager

 

Salary: £25,959 to £29,217 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday

Location: Unit 11, Canal Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2PA

   

Are you an experienced Ecommerce Manager looking for a development opportunity?

As an Ecommerce Manager, you will have a background in ecommerce operations and experience managing multiple sites. You will lead teams across various locations to optimize ecommerce operations and achieve strategic objectives and targets.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of ecommerce operations
  • Oversee ecommerce management matters, ensuring compliance and maintenance of databases

 

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing, supporting, and resourcing a geographically dispersed team through setting and monitoring objectives and targets
  • Proven experience in managing and setting budgets
  • A good understanding of ecommerce management and the challenges of working within the voluntary sector
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload
