We provide hospice care to people of all ages in their place of choice. Our care includes,
pain and symptom relief, palliative care, end of life care, respite, bereavement support and emotional and spiritual care.

Without the commitment and professionalism of our staff, we wouldn’t be able to provide the full range of much needed services.

HR & Training Administrator

HR & Training Administrator

37.5 hours per week

Salary: £19,706 per annum

ellenor is a charity which provides specialist care to both adults and children with life-threatening illnesses and their families, both at the hospice and in the local community.   

The Organisation is seeking a passionate and experienced administrator for the post of HR and Training Administrator. The main responsibility of the role is to support the HR service throughout the organisation, liaising with staff and managers on a daily basis and assist with the day to day operation of the HR team. You will be required to work quickly and accurately in an effective, timely and accurate manner. Full on-the-job training will be provided, and statutory training will need to be completed.

You must have Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) experience with great interpersonal skills. Previous HR experience would be desirable but is not essential as full training will be provided. There may be the opportunity to gain CIPD qualifications with this post.

This post will be subject to a basic DBS clearance and you must be fully vaccinated from Covid 19.

Van Driver

Van Driver 

Hours: 41.5 per week Monday to Friday (plus 2 Saturdays per month)

Salary: £22,462 per annum

Location: Gravesend

 

ellenor is looking for a Driver to carry out the collection and delivery of items intended for sales in our Charity shops. This will require collection and removal of items (including furniture) from private homes and business premises and the placing and securing of items in the Hospices registered vehicles.

Other duties will include assisting in the running of Fundraising Events by collecting and delivering equipment as instructed by members of staff. You need to be flexible to meet the needs of the organisation and to act as an ambassador for the organisation during your day to day duties.

You must be able to work effectively and reliably with a team of volunteers and staff, be able to manage your own workload and liaise and communicate effectively with the rest of the team.

This post will be subject to a basic DBS clearance and you must be fully vaccinated from Covid19.

ellenor is a charity that provides hospice care to all ages and to help us provide this specialist hospice care and support, we need amazing people. We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our charity.

People are at the heart of everything we do and this is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Digital Executive to join a dynamic Marketing team.

You will lead on production and co-ordination of content and communications to engage target audiences, deliver ellenor’s comprehensive digital marketing and communication strategy developing digital awareness internally and externally.

You will have staff responsibilities within the team and will report into the Interim Head of Marketing and Communications.

The role will require you to liaise with all staff across the hospice. We are a small team and are happy to roll our sleeves up and seek every opportunity to grow the ellenor brand.

We are looking for a new member of our fabulous Supporter Engagement Team!

Can you play a pivotal role in delivering our fantastic portfolio of events and challenges?

You’ll work closely with the Supporter Engagement Officer to plan and implement our events, challenges and campaigns programme which includes our flagship event, Twilight. You’ll understand the impact of marketing to drive acquisition and you’ll have a keen eye for identifying trends in supporter behaviour to inform future strategies.

You be a great planner, and may come from a fundraising, sales or events background. Your passion for ellenor will keep supporters inspired as you take them on a journey of the many ways in which they can continue to help us care for patients and their families facing life limiting illnesses.

Our Children’s Team are part of something special, they provide specialist care and support to babies, children and young people with palliative and end of life care and oncology needs.

Our team support families in their own homes to ensure they enjoy special moments together. The children and young people we care for all have life limiting or life-threatening conditions and we are proud to offer a range of services to support the whole family. This includes Play and Music Therapy and pre and post bereavement support. The role is very varied and requires a good understanding of the complex emotional and physical needs of the children/young people and their families.

We are looking for dynamic, innovative and compassionate people to join our team and help us to expand our service. Ideally, you will have experience caring for children with complex needs, palliative or oncology needs and will be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to children, young people and their families.

Flexibank Specialty Doctor in Palliative Care

ellenor is the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for both adults and children living in North Kent and Bexley.

Our services for adults include Inpatient ward, Living Well programme, Hospice at Home, Care Home Support Team and range of Wellbeing services, including Therapies. For children in Dartford Gravesham and Swanley we provide clinical nursing support working with children’s families to provide care at their place of choice, which is often their own home. This means the children can receive care in familiar surroundings. In addition for Children in Dartford Gravesham Swanley and Bexley we provide respite and wellbeing services which include, Play therapy, Music Therapy, Counselling, Bereavement support to mention just a few. 

Our strategic aims recognise our role in leading the development of services to the wider community for patients with life limiting conditions for both palliative care and at the end of life, and we see an increasing role in education and training and as a coordinator for providing the best possible palliative care to more people and families.

An exciting opportunity for experienced and motivated doctors to join our Consultant led multidisciplinary team. We are looking for experienced doctors capable of delivering high quality patient care to our adult patients with full GMC registration, 4 years full time postgraduate training including at least 2 years in a relevant speciality. You will need to be enthusiastic about delivering the highest quality palliative care, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a flexible adaptable approach. Involvement in teaching and audit / research is required, along with participation in the on-call and weekend rota.

Support with professional development will be provided as appropriate, as well as regular clinical supervision.
