Salary: £9,543 per annum (£22,368 per annum pro rata)

Hours: 16 hours per week

Week  1   Monday 12-6pm, Tuesday 12-6pm, Wednesday 10-2pm

Week 2 Monday 12-6pm, Tuesday 12-6pm, Wednesday 2-6pm

(Weekend hours, with weekday flexibility if required)

ellenor is a charity and a specialist palliative care provider for adults and children in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley, and for children across the London Borough of Bexley. The Organisation has In-patient, Community, Wellbeing and therapeutic services at Northfleet.

We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join the hospice. You will be part of a skilled catering team, operating 365 days per year delivering high quality service to our patients, staff and visitors.

You must have experience in food preparation, cooking and cleaning. The role will require you to help prepare meals and snacks for our in-house café,with the opportunity to help develop new menu options to accommodate the requirements of the diverse community we serve.

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in cooking or working in a kitchen environment.

Ecommerce Manager

Salary: £25,959 to £29,217 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday

Location: Unit 11, Canal Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2PA

   

Are you an experienced ecommerce manager looking for an opportunity to support your local charity?

As an ecommerce manager, you will have a background in ecommerce operations and experience managing multiple sites. You will lead teams across various locations to optimise ecommerce operations and achieve strategic objectives and targets.

ellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community. At ellenor, we value inclusivity and focus on providing high-quality services with compassion and care.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Retail to plan, set, and manage the annual ecommerce operating budget, taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure your teams are delivering as per the strategic plan and in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of ecommerce operations.
  • Oversee ecommerce performance, and management, ensuring compliance and maintenance of databases.
  • Work with internal teams for campaigns and digital marketing.
  • Ensure product offering and pricing is competitive across markets.

 

Essential requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing, supporting, and resourcing a geographically dispersed team through setting and monitoring objectives and targets.
  • Proven experience in managing and setting budgets.
  • A good understanding of ecommerce management and the challenges of working within the voluntary sector.
  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing channels (Socials, ebay, email, etc)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload.

Do you hold a clean Full UK driving licence, with category C1, and looking for a new opportunity?

We are looking for friendly drivers who are proud to deliver outstanding customer service on behalf of our charity. The role will include heavy lifting and moving and transporting furniture or goods from various locations to our retail sites and warehouse with our company van.

ellenor is a hospice charity in Gravesend providing palliative and end-of-life care within the local community. At ellenor, we value inclusivity and focus on providing high-quality services with compassion and care.  Our growing network of 10 shops is supported by our local community to donate goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Collaborate with the Distribution team to collect and distribute goods to multiple sites and locations.
  2. Safely moving furniture and heavy goods in and out of customer premises, and ellenor retail sites, taking care to cause no damage or injury.
  3. Follow health and safety guidance when lifting, transporting and moving stock between locations and in and out of the company vehicle.
  4. Ensure you are delivering as per the strategic plan and in line with company policies and procedures.
  5. Provide excellent customer service at all times with the capability to navigate sensitive situations being mindful of the circumstances at all times.

Essential requirements:

  • Due to Insurance purposes, applicants must be over the age of 25.
  • Hold a clean Full UK driving license for a minimum of two years with category C1.
  • To pass a Standard DBS check.
  • Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy/bulky items.
  • Experience with driving a commercial vehicle in a multi-drop role or delivery service.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to manage own workload.
