We provide hospice care to people of all ages in their place of choice. Our care includes,
pain and symptom relief, palliative care, end of life care, respite, bereavement support and emotional and spiritual care.

Without the commitment and professionalism of our staff, we wouldn’t be able to provide the full range of much needed services.

Supporter Engagement and Events Officer

Supporter Engagement and Events Officer

Location: Home and office  based

Salary: £23,304 Pro Rata

Hours: 16 hours per week

 (Some evening and weekend is required for which time in lieu is given)

 

We are looking for a new member of our fabulous Supporter Engagement Team!

Can you inspire our local community to raise funds for our hospice? Perhaps you have a background in sales, customer service or account management and are looking for something more meaningful?

You will have the kind of personality which gets the best out of people, and your passion for our cause will enthuse our supporters to help ellenor provide support to patients and their families facing life limiting illnesses. You’ll thrive on planning and delivering activities and campaigns for our community to get involved in, and love being part of a diverse fundraising team.

Senior Individual Giving Officer

Senior Individual Giving Officer

 (12 Months Maternity Cover)

Hospice in Gravesend & WFH)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
(required to work evenings and weekends as necessary,with time off in lieu)

Salary: C. 25,464 - £27,015

We are recruiting for a fundraiser for 12 months maternity cover, to play a key role in our exciting Individual Giving Program.

You’ll lead on the various aspects of our in-memory programme, and this includes the development of our Memory Tree and our very special Lights of Love service. With your empathetic nature, you’ll be the main point of contact for those wishing to give in memory of a loved one.

You’ll assist the Individual Giving Manager in the delivery of our direct mail campaigns, and you’ll be a great forward planner – helping to ensure we make the right ask of our wonderful supporters, at the right time.

You’ll thrive on ensuring our lottery players feel motivated and inspired to continue to support us through this vital income stream.

Can you bring the skills to build strong relationships within the community we serve, be a team player and work towards increasing our ambition to grow and develop ellenor’s diverse Individual Giving programme?

You may come from a marketing, events or project management background – and now wish to hone your skills in a fundraising environment. Or, you may have a broad range of fundraising experience, and now want to develop into a more focussed approach, and we would love to hear from you if so.

Assistant Clinical Administrator

Assistant Clinical Administrator

Salary: £18,575 per annum

 Hours 37.5 hour per week

 

We are looking for someone with accurate typing skills, who pays attention to detail and has a positive and pro-active nature. They should be flexible and be able to work in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality customer service and enjoy working with the public.  This position is office-based and whilst the hospice is due to have major building works carried out, this role will require working from two sites in Gravesend, so commuting between the two will be expected.

They will be working within a small clinical administration team but widely with a variety of clinical nursing teams, which includes the Inpatient ward, our Children’s service, and the community teams, therefore an understanding of what a hospice is and what type of work is involved within the services it offers is essential.

ellenor is the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for both adults and children living in North Kent and Bexley.

Our services for adults include Inpatient ward, Living Well programme, Hospice at Home, Care Home Support Team and range of Wellbeing services, including Therapies. For children in Dartford Gravesham and Swanley we provide clinical nursing support working with children’s families to provide care at their place of choice, which is often their own home. This means the children can receive care in familiar surroundings. In addition, for Children in Dartford Gravesham Swanley and Bexley we provide respite and wellbeing services which include, Play Therapy, Music Therapy, Counselling, and Bereavement support to mention just a few.
