pain and symptom relief, palliative care, end of life care, respite, bereavement support and emotional and spiritual care.

Without the commitment and professionalism of our staff, we wouldn’t be able to provide the full range of much needed services.

Play Therapist

Play Therapist

Salary: £27,825 to £31,318 pro rata

(Depending on experience)

14 hours per week (flexible to suit your work-life balance)

ellenor is the provider of all-encompassing hospice care for both adults and children living in North Kent and Bexley.

 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing therapeutic services at ellenor proving specialist palliative care to adults and childrens across Dartford Gravesham and Swanley, for children this also includes Bexley.

 We are looking for a second play therapist to work alongside our current play therapist and other wellbeing staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality specialist therapeutic support to children and their families under the care of ellenor. This includes bereaved children, children with life limiting conditions and Oncology needs as week as the children of adult patients.

You will be working with patients and carers with highly complex emotional and psychosocial needs, providing therapeutic services via a variety of means, including face to face and via virtual means. We believe in providing therapeutic interventions, tailored to the individual needs of children and their families.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will develop individualised programmes, with outcome measures that evidence the therapeutic benefit of Play Therapy.

You must have an Ma/Msc in Play Therapy and be registered as a Play Therapist with the British Association for Play Therapist BAPT or PTUK.

NHS Pension scheme members can transfer their pension.

An enhanced DBS is required and will be arranged.

Salary: £37,395-£40,863 per annum

Hours: 37.5 per week (flexibility will be required around working times)

 

ellenor Hospice is a specialist palliative care provider for adults and children in Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley, and for children across the London Borough of Bexley.  The organisation has in-patient and outpatient and Living Well services at Northfleet, comprehensive Hospice at Home services and a range of out-patient and community services all supported and delivered through a multi-disciplinary team.

Are you looking to join a team who are embarking on a three-year plan to significantly increase income and take its fundraising to the next level. We are a high performing, friendly team who are proud of our achievements, but we feel we can do more.

 

The Job:

We are seeking an exceptional and experienced fundraiser to work closely with the Director of Income Generation and lead our Individual Giving Team and Supporter Care team. The post holder will lead a team of three fundraisers who focus on Individual Giving activities (such as Appeals, digital supporter acquisition, telephone retention programmes), In Memory, Legacy and Lottery fundraising and a team three staff who focus on our database integrity, supporter insight and overall fundraising support.

The current annual target of these teams is approximately £1.2 million. We are investing in acquisition activities, updating our data infrastructure and feel we are ready to embark on significantly increasing our income in this area over the next three years.

 

About you:

The successful candidate will have significant experience in developing Individual Giving programmes, have a fantastic grasp of data segmentation and analysing supporter behaviour and as well as a proven track record in generating significant fundraising income. You will have demonstratable experience of leading teams with exceptional written and oral skills and the ability to work at pace with conflicting priorities.

This post is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance.

We are looking for a driven and experienced senior fundraiser to lead our Community, Corporate and Trust fundraising activities at ellenor.

The Job:

The post holder will work closely with the Director of Income Generation to lead our Community and Events, Corporate and Trust teams. The current annual target of these teams is approximately £750,000 per year. We have the vision, ambition, and determination to build strong relationships within the community we serve and strive to increase our income to £1.2 million per year in this area over the next three years. This post is a key post to supporting this goal.

The post holder will be responsible of delivering this annual income target and will devise and implement strategies to build and manage partnerships across the community, work creatively to establish new and develop existing income streams from all designed to promote, develop and resource within agreed planned budgets.

 

About you:

The successful candidate will have significant experience as well as a proven track record in generating significant fundraising income in Community & Events fundraising as well having significant experience in either Corporate Fundraising, Trust Fundraising or Major Donor Fundraising. You will also have demonstratable experience of leading teams with exceptional written and oral skills and the ability to work at pace with conflicting priorities.
