Assistant Manager

Salary: £13,420.80 per annum

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

Location: Welling

Do you have great customer service, a friendly and approachable manner and retail experience? If so, we are looking for someone just like you!

As an Assistant Shop Manager, you will have a background in retail and experience in the retail environment. You will work alongside the shop manager to manage staff and volunteers, drive sales to achieve targets and assist in recruitment, training, cash management and managing volunteers.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborate with the Shop Manager to plan, set, and operate the shop within the annual retail operating budget
  • Maintaining high levels of standards within the store
  • Sorting donations, pricing and displaying products
  • Cash handling, and banking
  • Managing volunteers and daily tasks

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good organisation and planning skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload

Staff Nurse - IPW

 Staff Nurse – In-patient Ward

23 hours per week. (2 Long days /nights)

 

Salary: £31,331 - £35,617 (depending upon experience)

Location: ellenor Hospice, Gravesend, DA11 7HQ

Hours:  Hours offered as per department needs

  • Ensure the highest possible standard of care for patients and supporting relatives during their care.
  • Participating in the assessment and provision of care needs for patients.
  • Ensuring all care is documented correctly electronically, in line with mandatory and legal requirements.
  • Acting as part of the team alongside HCA’s and the medical team to deliver appropriate care.
  • Undertake any additional duties considered to fall within the position of a Staff nurse as directed by the Ward Sister/Operational Lead.

 

Essential requirements of the role include:

 

  • Registered Nurse with up-to-date registration and revalidation.
  • Educated or working towards a degree or evidence of relevant experience.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, times and days of the week, including night shifts.
  • Willing to undertake further professional training/qualifications.

Flexibank HCA Night Sitting Service

Flexibank HCA Night Sitting Service

Salary: £11.44 - £11.96 Per Hour

Location: Based at ellenor Hospice, Coldharbour Road, Gravesend, Kent and will be working in the community

Hours: 22:00-06:00 as required.

We are looking to expand our night sitting service and are looking for Flexibank Health care assistants who are happy working with patients and families on a 1- 2 -1 basis. You will be offering a waking-night service to support and reassure patients in the final stages of their illness.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintain a respectful, non-judgmental and caring attitude towards patient and family
  • Being involved with all aspects of care for patients in their own homes.
  • Delivering the highest quality holistic patient care, including personal care.
  • Assist with meals, feed patients where necessary and undertake any other duties that are considered to fall within the scope of the health care assistant role.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation to the highest standards in line with mandatory legal requirements paying particular attention to accuracy using electronic reporting systems (Emis).

Essential requirements of the role include:

  • NVQ level 2/3 in health and social care
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Ability to work alone
  • Good Communication skills
