Swanley and North Downs Lions are once again running a sponsored bicycle event at Brands Hatch, on the famous 1.2 mile Indy Circuit. It is not a race, and participants set their own target for the number of laps they intend to complete. Admission to the track will be from 6.00 p.m. until approx. 8.00 p.m.

There is no need to pre-book, but on the day each cyclist must register in the Kentagon bar/restaurant & collect a circuit entry pass. Those 14 years of age or under must be accompanied by a riding adult at all times whilst on the circuit. All riders will be asked to sign to accept Brands’ conditions for taking part, & under 18s must have a parent or responsible adult present, when registering, to accept those conditions on their behalf. All riders are advised to wear appropriate protective clothing, particularly an approved helmet.

Participants are encouraged to contribute as much as possible, but as a minimum each rider is asked to raise sponsorship, or make a personal donation, of at least £15 (£5 for those who are 14 years old and under), payable by cash or cheque when registering if not sponsored for more.

This event is organised by Swanley and North Downs Lions in aid of local good causes including ellenor.
