Uh oh!  Father Christmas’ elves are missing in Gravesend!

But don’t worry, Ellie and her team of children are here to help the elves find their way home.

The Elves have been spotted around Gravesend and it’s up to the children to help Ellie find them.

Luckily, we’ve got a handy map to show where the Elves were last spotted.

Your children and their accompanying adults could dress up as an elves too to so that everyone can see you’re part of Ellie’s Christmas team.

Suitable for: Believers and ages 3+

Cost £3 per participant, adults go free!

Times: 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, midday, 12.30 and 1pm.

How does it work:  You meet Ellie’s helpers at the Borough Market.  You will be given a map with locations that elves have been spotted.  Visit those locations, find the elf, get your map stamped.  On the way there will be a craft stop for your child/ren to do.  Return your stamped map to Ellie and get your Ellie’s Elf Trail certificate stamped and a small gift from Santa to say thank you for helping.

We’ll also be running a fancy dress competition on the Facebook event page.  Be sure to stop at our official Ellie’s Elf Trail photo booth to enter.  We’ll be looking for originality, fun and Christmas themed!  We will post the photos we take in our FB event page.  There will be 2 prizes; 1 – photo with the most engagement/likes/shares/comments, 2 – Most original costume (Judges - Fundraising Team).

Our photographer will be out and about taking photos of the event.  If you would prefer your child not to have their photograph taken, please let our team know at registration and we will give you a sticker to wear.

By booking on to this event you accept our Terms and Conditions.

Can anyone take part?

Yes!  This event is recommended for children between 3 and 12.  But if you have older or younger children that you think would enjoy taking part, you may book places for them.

How long will it take?

It takes around 2 hours to complete, but you may want to shop or eat as you go which may make it longer.

Do we have to find every single elf to get our certificate?

Ellie knows how busy you all are.  It’s okay if you can’t get round to all of the locations.  Together the children will fill in the gaps.  When you’re ready to finish, please come to the final location on your map and collect your certificates.

We can’t make the start time advertised, can we start a little later?

Yes. That’s fine as long as you can start by 2pm, there’ll be enough time to get around all of the locations.  Please book onto the 1pm and email events@ellenor.org to let us know you'll be a little bit later.

If you've already booked for a time slot and need to switch, please email events@ellenor.org to let us know.

What time do we have to be finished by?

The event will end at 4pm because Ellie needs to gather the elves up and get them back to the North Pole.

Do we need to bring anything?

We are at the mercy of the weather so please be prepared for wet, cold weather.  It will also be dark around 3.45pm.

What should we do if we get a positive Covid-19 test result?

If you or any of your child participants receive a positive test result or has symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend this event.  Please email events@ellenor.org and we'll do our best to help you.
