Level 2/3 Award in End of Life Care including Dementia Care at End of Life
This is a knowledge based, 10 credit City and Guilds qualification in collaboration with St Christophers. Consisting of three mandatory units plus an integral unit focusing on care for those with dementia. There are no pre-requisite qualifications nedded tio access this course but successful completion of the workbook is required.

Who's the course for?
Health Care Assistants and Staff Nurses across all settings.

Program covers:

  • Principles of palliative care, dignity in care, advanc care planning, DNA CPR explained.
  • Recognising dying and caring for end of life, symptom management and dementia awareness
  • Communication skills and teamwork
  • Psychosocial care and bereavement including support for carers.

Cost: £400 per delegate (includes lunch)
